1. Magic
2. Cousy
3. Nash
4. Stockton
5. Robertson
These are in no particular order, it's hard to compare the position today to ages past but the players today are much better athletes and in much better condition.
Also to the moron below me that said what about Michael Jordan stupid.... Jordan isn't/wasn't a PG, learn the game before you comment nitwit.

1. Magic Johnson - NBA's Icon for Point Guards.
2. Oscar Robertson - if he's playing today, he'll be Jason Kidd (triple-double) + Gilbert Arenas (scoring)
3. Isiah Thomas - 2 Rings. The Baby Face Assassin.
4. Bob Cousy - The Houdini of the Hardwood
5. Jason Kidd - Mr. Triple-Double... and counting. solid defense.
Honorable Mention:
John Stockton - The Best Pure Point Guard (pass first, pass second then shoot third)
Tiny Archibald - anybody to lead the NBA in scoring & assist again?
Steve Nash - back-to-back MVP. The Best Shooter (not scorer) in the list.
Walt Frazier - quarterback of the Most Unselfish Team in NBA History. 7-time Defensive First team.

Your list is a little too present centric. here's mine:
1. Magic Johnson
2. John Stockton
3. Oscar Robertson
4. Steve Nash
5. Jason Kidd
Magic has to be #1 because there isnt anyone else who won the titles, has the stats, was clutch, and basically unguardable at his position. Stockton has to be 2 because he is the assist and steals king all time. plus he was incredibly clutch and shot over 50% from the field. The big O, dont know much about him but if you can average a triple double you deserve to be pretty high up on the list. Nash, one of my favorites is an amazing point guard and makes everyone else better. he gets a point or two off for not being a great defender. Kidd is last for a few reasons, he is a poor shooter, isnt clutch as far as making big shots or plays, and makes guys better but not as much as the other guys. really i'd be happy with any of these guys in their prime as my starter at the PG position.

At present times, here are the top PG's:
Steve Nash- his team is inconsistent in the win column without him
Jason Kidd- he gets triple doubles in a regular basis
Chris Paul- his stats are consistently going up
Tony Parker- is essential to the trio tandem of the Spurs
Deron Williams- has the second highest assist average in a surprising Utah team
Now, going to the all-time list:
Magic Johnson- a flashy player with great skills; entertaining player with a lot of heart
John Stockton- leads the league in all-time assists and steals
Bob Cousy- one of the most impotant men in the Celtics dynasty of 14 NBA championships in the 50's and 60's
Isiah Thomas- great, quick player who had phenomenal playmaking skills; never gave up on an improbable play
Steve Nash- one of only two point guards to win the season MVP multiple times

1. Magic (no doubt!)
2. Kidd (Mr triple double)
3. Stockton (Assist King)
4. Nash (twice MVPs)
5. Oscar Robertson (ok ... he was a guard but I am not sure if u consider him as PG or not but he had averaged a triple double - meaning double figure in assists! I will count him as a PG!)
