i have a motorola v3 and a usb cable...?

just came across it as i was tidying,i dont know what its for or what to do with it?

if you have a memory card in your phone you can use it to access the memory card loading into and down loading while it is connected to your computer. and if say your somewhere with your laptop and your phone is dying... you can also use the same cable to charge your cell phone from your computer if you're desperate. or if you lost your charger! It's pretty nice to keep around so you don't have to take another outlet to charge your phone when you're playing on your computer! Keep it around it's worth it... you can also use the same cord for your digital camera with you computer!

There is software you can buy from motorola that allows you to add photos custom ringtones, videos, and all the other forms of media to your phone. Its call PhoneTools you can get it for $26 as a disk or download from http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/phonetools/ . If you arent intrested in paying for the software, you can always use the software from this site http://www.themotoguide.com/index.php just be sure you follow the intructions because you can screw up your phone with those programs. You can mod any feature on your phone with this software and all you need is that cable you have.

I think you're supposed to have a disc with it too. The usb cable allows you to download your own wallpapers and ringtones onto the phone.
