only if you are trying to spare somebodys felings. But that usualy wont help. Because being decieved only compounds the real issues.The truth is always best. Unless of course your talking to a cop, than, deny everything!

a) to help somebody in need.
b) to bolster the confidence of a child badly in need of it.
c) to give a dying man hope.

i know my answer will be unpopular and i will have some tumb downs, but sometimes you really have to. for example when you go to a job interview and you talk about yourself, i don't think you'd ever say that "i''m soo lazy and soo hate to work" right?
