If you have loved ones who come forward to claim your body, then they can do whatever they want with regards to a funeral, burial or cremation.

If nobody comes forward to claim your body, then the state cremates your remains at its own expense.

i am the indigent guy . i sure hope i can solve that soon .
the goverment here on ontario has a system were by they spend 500 dollars on every funeral. rich poor dont matter.
now if the 500 bucks is all you got then you get a 500 dollar funeral. that means nothing stick me in the oven at 500 degrees for 5 hours then take me out grind me up some more then use a rolling pin and make sure i am all dust then toss the dust away. thats what awaits me.

if its just you, the local government will either bury or cremate you. probably cremation nowadays. then they'll bury you all real close together with a tiny marker.
