Hi! I have a daughter that is almost a year old and I plan to try and start potty training as soon as she is walking steadily and can sit herself down and get up from a chair by herself. I am not sure that 2 is the right age or what but I think that when a child sneaks off to a corner somewhere to do their business, then they are aware that they have to go and so its time to start introducing the potty regardless of age. I have recently observed that my daughter is doing that and perhaps it is way too early to start training but I don't think it will hurt to try it. You can start by building a habit of sitting her on the potty when she wakes up in the morning and after naps. If she starts to go a little then try the potty more frequently throughout the day. Ask her is she needs to potty. Give a positive reaction when she succeeds and don't be upset if she doesn't. Hopefully that will help. Best of luck.

Potty training you mean?? Little girls are usually not ready until the age of 2 years. Your little girl probably isn't ready yet. With my 2 daughters, as soon as they turned 2 years old, I started introducing the potty to them. I let them run around bare butt, as they are summer babies, and had them sit on the potty every 15 minutes or so. It didn't take long. They got the idea rather quickly, and I have never had any bed wetting problems. Good luck!
