you can do all this through your lawyer , they will track down the person , and make contact , if they cannot make contact , they will finalise the decree nisi , even if he doesnt respond , if you are planning to dissolve the relationship. there is most likely no assets involved which you would be contesting , and even if there is , there has been a 25 year absence, and you most likely just want closure , from memory , it should cost around $1000 au for the trackdown , and the divorce.

The first thing you need to do is contact a solicitor as they have access to information that you can't get to. You will need to tell them the last known address she lived at & they will begin a trace for you. Good luck

i always thought that if you were married and then didnt contact them for 7 years the marriage just runs out therefore gets anulled!or you could try the local registry office,probably cost you around £7 for a copy of the deeds!
