It depends on the babies weight. It is 2.5oz per pound of baby. For example a 10lb baby should have 25oz over the day (10x2.5). My 12lb daughter has 30oz over the day (6x5oz feeds). I am not fussed if she has a few oz less or extra. Getting all this food down her has been our key to getting her to sleep through the night.

2-4 ounces in each bottle every 1-4 hours depending if he/she finishes bottles or not. Some babies require more and will want more at different times, especially when going through a growth spurt! So you could be giving as much as 4 ounces at each feeding.
My little one (not so little anymore, almost 1) would eat 2-3 ounces every 1-2 hours at that age. She would eat no more than that at a feeding, which made me feel like I was breast feeding! So gradually I started making the bottles more full, by like a 1/4-1/2 ounce at a time. I got real good at math and so will you! Congrats!

Normally 3 fluid ounces which will increase to 6 fluid ounces at 2 months old but babies do differ and sometimes will drink less or more depending on how long they have slept for etc... Make sure you give water as well as sometimes a baby is just thirsty and water also helps them to not be constipated. They can have 3 fluid ounces of boiled cooled water a day.

A HV I know gave this advice...
Times (multiply) the baby's weight (in lbs and oz) by 2.5, then divide it by the number of feeds you give during 24hrs - the answer you get is the number of ounces you should give the baby per feed.
This way the food given is based on weight and not age, which is more appropriate

On average, a newborn consumes about 1.5 to 3 ounces every 2 to 3 hours. This amount increases as your baby grows and is able to take more at each feeding.

As much as he needs, just keep filling him up! Always keep a baby topped up, and feed on demand.

However much the baby needs, all babies are different but don't forget to give him/her water in between they can get dehydrated.
