My son who is 4 1/2 months developed a very bad cough. It's a very dry cough. Took him to his pedia and was given expectorant and cold and fever medicine. He doesn't have any fever at all but during the night he coughs so hard that he even screams, it makes him cry as well. I took him back to the doctor and was told to continue with the same medications plus given an antibiotic. I feel very restless everytime my son coughs. Is there any other medications even natural ones that I can give him. Please help.

Allergies? If it doesn't get better, get him checked out. Could be just developing.

Give him warm water to drink always,cant do much for a baby....any mild caugh syrup or if u know give him some "tulsi water"
