I've just an AGP nvidia 7600 gs graphics card and have installed it only to find I can no longer play dvd......this is not the first time it has happened to me..last time I just gave up ....I'm told it may be a direct x issue....if so what can I do.....pls hlp

Make sure that you have updated graphics drivers. Run Windows Update. (Re)install your DVD Player software.

Go to start, run, and type dxdiag. This opens the directx diagnostic tool. This should tell you what the problem is if it is direct x related.

Try reinstalling your DVD player s/w
