i prefer candies because there are a lot of different varieties. I am not so fond of chocolate. I can not eat plain chocolate. It has to be like chocolate and peanut butter.

A box of assorted chocolates: because there's more substance to them than hard candies that you suck on for hours. I like to think of chocolates as little desserts, whereas a candy even one as complicated as Brach's coconut three colored neopolitan thing just doesn't scream sultry luxuary indulgence. Also some chocolates have nuts, fruits, or creams in them..we're talking more "real food" value than just artificial coloring and flavor. Not to mention there are LEVELS of chocolate from processed coco flavored sugar to nearly as dark as chewing on a cacao bean. Not to mention, dark chocolate especially; has stuff in it to make you happy and is good for your heart!(in more ways than one)

i prefer chocolates because candies make me feel sick. One Easter i got a huge basketful of candy and suckers, and jelly things, and ever since that easter (i ate the whole basket) i've been traumatized and it makes me feel sick like i've eaten too much, even if i only eat one piece. so i really like chocolate.
