Yes but only in French (chocolat), English (chocolate), German (Schokolade) and Italian (Chiocolatto).

About the Aztec comment...

Well that`s funny that they called chocolate "cacahuet" because in French, "cacahuètes" means "peanuts"!

They were probably referring to a Snickers bar or an Oh! Henry candy bar or something, huh?

(lol)

Wherever it comes from, whoever invented chocolate by extracting it from cocoa seeds is a damn genius!!!

Interestingly enough, chocolate is spelled the same way in Spanish and English. The differences are that in English the "a" sound is long and in Spanish the "e" is pronounced.

The Spaniards adapted the word from the Aztecs who called it cacahuatl.

In French, chocolate is chocolat, where the "t" is silent.

Chokoretto - Japanese

(It's a borrowed word from English, so it sounds like "chocolate" in a Japanese accent)

As long as the word 'choco' is in it.

Chinese: Chi ku lite
Japanese: chokoretto
