Being inspired by the creator and creating a work of art, does not make the artist a cheat. We are free to draw inspiration from any and every source possible, but the final work of art should be a master piece, the credit goes to the artist not the sources of inspiration.
Everyone of us actors, singers etc. have been inspired by someone before us, this does not make us cheats.

"we all know the CREATOR of the whole universe is one."
I don't know that therefore "we all" don't know that.
You obviously have some theological affiliation and religious system of beliefs. You have faith in a higher power.
I do not knock this. In fact, I respect it quite sincerely.
I, however, am agnostic. I simply do not know. I do not believe it is possible to know, no matter what which writings may say, what lies beyond that which we can perceive on a purely reasonable, physical, and, really, human level.
If nothing else I give full credit to the artist because he or she has produced something of beauty and meaning. Maybe some CREATOR endowed him or her with this ability but he or she made use of it. Furthermore I see, smell, feel, etc.. the work of the artist. I do not have such tangible experiences with the CREATOR, what or whomever that is.
Your hubris lies in assuming you are right. No theology I know of supports such an assumption as you cannot be as knowledgeable as your creator, or whatever higher consciousness you believe in.
Furthermore I, or anyone, for that matter, can easily claim to be original because we all have the simple ability to do so. We also have the ability to believe it to be true much as you have the ability to believe it not to be true.
You, as you well know, are not a god. Please don't presume to have the knowledge and wisdom of one.

The CREATOR inspires people like artists to portray images he has created. The way an artist presents his work shows his individuality and hence his work is original. The CREATOR has given us different gifts and it is up to us to use these gifts well. When I personally see the work of artists, I am amazed at how beautiful this world is and there is so much we can learn from it including appreciating the wonderful work of our CREATOR.

The artist has not a creator, necessarily in mind when doing his/her work.
God or THAT intangible which some people so much cling to as the only true decisive or determining force over human kind, is not in the artist mind, while working.
Unless one is devoted because of strong beliefs in religious art, that God determines what, where art comes from or/and should be devoted to - the artist is just accepting of being filled with an inspiration, to which he bothers not to give too much time to decipher of its source. If the artist did, he'd never get any worthwhile or efficacious work done.
Instead, he takes advantage of that magical moment of inspiration, bothers NOT what source it comes from and goes without securities or guarantees into his creation.
Henri Matisse, a French artist of the 20th century, was once asked : " Do you believe in God?"
He smiled with a sense of true introspection, flavored a little with humor at such a question, and responded :
"Well . . when I work, I do . . "
Human beings can be so bound with ideas about God or the Devil or anything else to which there is no proven or even sufficient proof, that they rob of themselves their own originality and creativity, both valid.
I can not imagine for myself, being so bound to the concept of The Only True God, that I'd forsake or forfeit what was humanly mine.
If I did, I'd always be afraid to make the slightest move, for fear that "God" would not like it - therefore I'd be like a child waiting for a spanking because he dared conduct his own discoveries into himself, the world around him appealing constantly to his natural human curiosities, and his desires to do, put a personal mark, (without the pressure of a parental God atop him) to fulfill his intelligence, creativity, inventiveness that are his alone.
How long do people want to remain frightened little children because "God" said this or that . . or forbade anything unless He had been the Only rightful one, NO MATTER WHAT, who'd ordain it?
I myself prefer to take much responsibility on my own. Without this child-parent arrangement which is so much : human to God.

When an artist creates a work, they use their skill, their imagination, their observations, it is them.
"...and we all know the CREATOR of the whole universe is one." Well I for one know there is not a creator, so the artist has every right to claim originality.

No. I don't agree with your logic.
Your logic takes away our free will. God's creation can be our inspiration, but the talent and creativity is ours. To take that away would make us pure puppets of the creator. Besides we are NOT creating a new species or a sunset. We are doing artistic interruptions of what we see around us and within us.
Gosh.........I really don't think you are thinking straight.
I totally believe that the Creator is proud of our talents and our artistic abilities.

God allows us to do this intentionally. When we paint something he created ,it proves to him of what our visuals without his words are.If we have a hard time creating it then it allows God to understand what each and all of our capability's are so he can equalize his power in our minds so we can understand it.
Otherwise if he showed us full force of what he meant by things in life we'd die from an overload in knowledge.
I mean it's a way God can measure each and everyone of our capabilties individually.
Who created the creator someone asked?Only the creator of the creator.Him ,himself, and he.
And still your question remains. But what does it matter?Where still all helping each other to adjust. If you get what I mean.

He. The biggest artists are the biggest socialists, but when it comes to getting adulation for THEIR work, they become hard core conservatives.
No, it is a joke to watch the fragile but bloated ego of every artist I've ever met push it's weight around when it senses competition or the threat of humility.

Essentially, I believe God provides the crayons and the examples. It is up to our individual creativity (which He also kindly provided) to interpret the world around us as we will and record our interpretation. "Cheating" only comes into play when I specifically copy what you have created and call it my creation.
Plagiarism might be a better term here. Any English majors want to dive in here?

Two different levels of creation and creativity. God creates reality, and man creates only new re-arrangements of portions of that reality. No need to deny human creativity.
