I've noticed alot of women get pains in the beginning of their pregnancys.
It seems common but could be worrisome. I think you should ask your doctor just to be safe.

i had the same thing. dr said its just my uterus growing. im 18 weeks. i stopped feeling those sharpish/period pains around 6 weeks or so. they just came back about 6 days ago. they stuck around for two days and left again. ur just growing. call ur dr if ur worried

it can be... your body is changing... I went to the ER like every other day because of pains like that and everytime i did, it was because of your uterus moving and getting bigger... you are probably ok as long as you are bleeding... I would let your OB know though.
