I mean it's very unusual for whites to have "soul" in singing, that's why JoJo is really one of the best RnB artists I've ever known.. Is there a way to have soul?

Do you mean the term RnB is reserved for Blacks? They why are there lots of Asian and Latino artists who declare their genre as RnB?
I really don't know why everybody here says Jojo is not an Rnb singer. I know she also does pop. Most of her songs are Rnb especially weak. And there, her soul is very obvious. She's a pop artist but ALSO an RNB ARTIST!!

They don't call white artists R&B. She is more pop than R&B but she can sing.
