It varies. Some people live in trailer homes (usually two that connect together), some live in pre-fabricated homes (made in a factory and put together at the building site (usually wood frame with various wooden or man-made exteriors but they can be red steel with steel exterior), and many live in apartments of varying quality depending on cost. A few people live in straw houses (no joke - there are exterior and interior walls with compressed straw bales between - very warm and it uses a cheap agricultural by-product). I believe most still live in privately owned homes that are built in place with a wooden frame and wood, stone, shingle, or brick exterior. The average size is one story (older ones generally have two, upper-middle class folks often have mini-mansions that have more then two stories), 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. Often times, if there is a garage, it is used as a game room, den, or whatever.
As far as how women are treated by men, pretty much the same as any other western country - different but equal.

Women can do what they want. There is little restriction on personal freedom. Gone are the days when women answer to men. I am certainly not against this, but it doesn't mean a woman should be hateful towards men. That comes from radical feminism.
As for the housing, it is the typical Western style with several rooms, two or three floors, a basement, wine cellar, attic, two living rooms, a dining room adjacent to the kitchen with an island and a dining room, two balconies.
My own house has three balconies, two bathrooms, a downstairs recreation room, computer area, four bedrooms-one turned into a den, a kitchen, dining room, laundry room, two wine cellars, a large backyard with fruit trees, a rose garden, shed and bushes all around the house. There is a long driveway, three cars, and a living room.

That is an extremely broad question. Housing in NYC is gotten through a real estate agent and costs a lot and you get squat. Other expensive cities are Boston, Georgetown (Washington DC), San Francisco (and a lot of other places in California). Rents are cheapest in depressed areas. Housing ranges from crappy trailer parks and housing projects all the way up to giantic mansions. The average person who rents has a two bedroom, average rent 700$. Average homes are about 2000 sq feet, 3 bedrooms, 250,000$. America is a very large country and rent and homes range from place to place.

well, in snowy places they make their houses plane so the snow doesn't build up. the men treat women like they own them and the women either listen or fight for their rights. some men treat women the same. they are called sensitive men, sometimes gay. some women act like men, they are called masculine or sometimes lesbo.
