i havent even seen Eragon 1, besides, aasz long as the dvd isn't out, niether will the sequel.

No I read the book as fast as I could with 2 kids and a husband yelling at me while reading (I finished it in 3 days with all the fuss at home)
I went and did a yahoo search on Eragon and found this stuff the first is athe officeal site of the movie and they have areas to find out more information on the books and some other features in there. I also found something like what Harry Potter has (mugglenet.com) but for Eragon. I just went ahead and put the search I did's link for you so you can look at it all. There is nothing I have read so far that talks about the release date on the second movie I will look more on it since I love the books so far as well as mykids (who are 5 and 7)
I thought of it at the last second and will have to look more into it but here is also the search I did on Christopher Panotini. He has a site that has updates or at least it should and its on the books cover....(damn me for not knowing where my book is after moving)

Personally, I don't think that there will be another one. The 1st one didn't follow the plot of the book, so it will be hard to continue the story. And also, the 1st one just came out a little while ago. Isn't it a bit early for a sequel?

The current movie crashed and burned. it was so bad, i doubt that even if they made a sequel that they would even be able to get it into the movie theatres because there may not be high consumer support...unless they actually bring a well-known actor to it, that would be their only chance...
other than that, i'm betting on a dvd release, skipping the entire theatre process...it would be a waste of money. the only profit they would make would be off of those types of people who like to see the sequel to corny movies so they can "just know how bad it really is"
go figure.

Will they even continue the movie? The first one was pretty bad. I thought they just left the story open for a possible 2nd movie, if, the ratings were good.

are you all outta your minds? eragon (the first one) was AMAZINGGGGGG! i loved it mucho. & it did well in theatres i hope the second one comes out soon. =)
