The scars for laparoscopy are tiny. For the navel incision (this is where the scope goes) it's about half an inch long, and the other incisions that go around the pubic line are about a quarter of an inch long.

Had a laproscope done 6 years ago. They made one incision below my navel and it is about 1/2 an inch long. The Dr. told me that they might have to make up to 4 incisions and they would all be about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch long. It was so minimal, I went home with just a band-aid on it, no stitches.

I had a couple of laparscopic surgeries; the scars are only about 3/4 inch long, and hardly noticable. They're MUCH smaller than the traditional incision for most surgeries, which can be many inches long (and MUCH more painful).

laparoscpy scars are usually quite minimal depend ant on the surgery about 1 inch would be the largest maybe 1/4-1/2 inch if in the abdominal area of young ladies they make them as small as possible,so you can still use you bikini, even the 1 in scars are usually stitched from inside.and the stitches dissolve.a band aid on the outer wound
