D6 per level hit points. Thief ability percentages. It's in the players handbook. Character generation can take 8 hours and can be trial and error. Minimum dexterity 12. Climb walls % Read Languages % Hide in Shadows % Move Silently % Pick Pocket % Backstab triple damage Alignment not chaotic good or lawful good. Cannot use armor past leather armor. First level Armor is usuall 8 or 7. Evasive skills. Survival skills. Merchant skills. Usually city folk. Needs thieves picks (expensive, rare) to learn Open Lock %. Recognize and Disarm trap. Dungeon scout. High levels seem to have a story line that involves the "thieves guild" that can levarage society for the return of treasures or information. the thief theme seems to involve "abandoned in the streets" children as a character background. cannot use weapons in the large category such as two handed swords. short sword, short bow, things to pack away to get back to thief proficiencies like climb wall. poisons are highly regulated by priests and only evil alignments use. probably a thief issue.
