Hard toss-up between moptop and psychedelic, guess it depends on the day.

Abby Road, although arguments can be made for any of your "eras"

Keep in mind, the Beatles, (as a band) were a phenomenon in the US for less than 7 years, (1964-1969) 3/7/64 on the Ed Sullivan Show, (I watch it!)

John & Yoko were not a "Beatles" era

I like mid to late period Beatles the best, especially on the albums Revolver and the White Album. I don't think that you can really narrow down those records down to a particular style or attach simplistic labels like psychedelic; on those records they could (and did) go in any direction they pleased with unparalleled results.

I like the Abbey Road Beatles the most. They were really flexing their musical muscles with both the songwriting and the production. Pop music had never been so lush before.

I love the early moptop beatles because it was all so simple and cheerful, and there's just nothing that can make you not like it.

I liked their EARLY works. When they first arrived. And I respect everything they've accomplished since.
