The only AGE DIFFERENCE that is NOT OKAY - - - Is when an adult has a "relationship" with a minor. As long as your "younger" partner is old enough to give legal consent, what happens after that is only the concern of you and your partner.
Yes, there will be some who would condemn the age difference. And it is generally wise to practice some degree of discretion regarding any public display of affection. But there are MANY older people who prefer younger partners, and MANY younger people who prefer older partners. It continues to astonish and delight ME in realizing this fact since I, also, am an "older" person who prefers being in a relationship with a "younger" person.
There is a 30 year age difference between my partner and myself in my current relationship. But it is what we BOTH want and it works... so why worry about opinions, other people, time, or tomorrows... things over which we have NO control.
What guarantee is there that you will even see a 50th birthday? Carpe' Diem... ENJOY what you have while you can!!!

It depends on the people in the relationship. There is a 24 year age difference between my husband and I and we have a wonderful marriage people say we still act like newlyweds after 15 years together.

It depends on your opinion of yourself. If you look younger now, you'll look younger when you're older. I know, I looked like I was 14 when I was 20, everyone says I may hate it now, but I'll be thankful when I'm older.
Personally my relationships have a 5 year max age difference though, more for intelligence level than for looks. *shrugs* it's a whatever floats your boat kind of thing.

I guess age is a mind thing. Who is anyone to judge love? For me, that's a bit much of an age difference. I prefer a max of 10 years difference. But that's me. Only you two know what's best for you.

in my line of work I deal with seniors and I come across many couples (m/f and m/m and f/f) who are 20-40 years apart in age. it is not as big a deal as people try to make it out to be. go for it and don't worry about it.

My wife's (gay marriages are legal in South Africa), ex-grilfriend has been in a relationship with a woman exactly double her age! Their secret? Nothing! they are open and honest with each other, and love each other very much. Age is only a factor if one or both of you obsess about it! Otherwise, bugger that! Its who you are, who he is and the love that you share!

If you really love him, then the age difference wouldn't matter.

Yeah, you could be his father but so what? As long as he's legal and you're both happy, you're golden. dont worry about it.
