They will be given in the next few months. You must register ahead of time. Go to your school guidance office and ask when the SAT will be given and ask how to register. If you take it before school is out then you will be fine.

it depends on the school. Right now american universities are not accepting freshmen applicants for September 2007. American universities only accept freshmen applicants for fall semesters every year. Which means that you can apply for regular admission for the school year 2008 on November or December 2007. The start of the school year is September 2008. In that case, you are to take the SATs on October. In US, the SATs are offered almost every 2 months, except July and August. In most foreign countries, SATs are given only on October of each year. Twice a year for some countries.
I haven't heard of a school yet that started July or summer. Usually schools accept students for fall and transferees can enroll for the spring semester. If you are just starting your college application process, you may enroll in community colleges/junior colleges and most of these colleges do not require you to take SATs.
Check the school's website for their calendar. You should be able to find the application deadlines there. (For SATs, etc)
