Lemme tell ya pal, that Crocs do eat young and baby hippos all the time. But in the event that the Croc gets cocky with an adult Hippo, he'll get his butt kicked big time. The golden rule is that you dont mess with a hippo in the water.

Because a hippo would end a crocodile. Don't you watch ANimal Face Off on Discovery. Crocdiles are far too smart to even try to go near a hippo.
That and crocodiles live near the banks and hippos live in the deep parts.

The Hippo would destroy the Crocodile. Every time. Ten of ten times.

Crocodiles don't eat hippos because hippos are very large in size and are very aggressive. Crocodiles do eat baby hippos if it is not protected by its mother.

the hippo is to large for the croc to grab onto and can submerge itself longer than the croc can, thus making it probable that the croc would drown.
it is also possible that the hippo can bite a croc in two if it gets a good chance to do so when under attack.

a hippo is a whole lot stronger than a croc it would be pretty hard to determain but since i like crocs i will go with the croc

Hippo is far meaner and stronger than a croc,also they kill more humans in africa than any other animal including the rhino
