I think BuckFush gave you some very good answers.Let me add on to what he said.Don't let anyone try to convert you in what they want you to be.If they do drop them.If it is a shakedown(some one who is trying to get something out of you like a quick hustle then drop him like a hot potato Patience is very important.If someone is giving you a bunch of BS they will not stay around for very long.But a real friend will be around you for a long time sex or no sex.Trust and respect is a must and is a foundation for all relations between human beings.Some one who respects your boundaries would be some one who respects you and puts you ahead of himself(deference).

The same places that everyone meets guys like that.Just out there.There is no one "place" that guarantees finding one kind of guy or another.Bars, bath houses, and public parks where anonymous sex goes on are usually not the best places.But you never know.I suggest coffee shops, malls, social clubs, sports, and even dating agencies.
