People speak in hidden codes and I hate it. I'm a "say what U want", kinda guy. Asking for sometime or space means I want to end the relationship. So don't be a fool and try to hang on to something U don't have. It will only hurt U in the long run. Get out and get going regardless of the pain. Wish U luck.

Well lots of questions, how long have you been together? has he been in lots of long term relationships before? HAve you been having problems lately?

Sometimes people get too exhausted with things and needs alone time, maybe they think things are moving way too fast, and they want to get things out of their system. My husband and I had a "break" 2 years ago, it only lasted 6 days and we werent married at the time. But it cleared our heads alot and our marriage couldnt possibly be any better. Just give them their space and call every once in awhile like once a week and dont be too clingy, cuz you could push them away.

he needs that time to be with someone else he is having an affair with, he wants to see if things are going to work out with the other person before he ends his marriage or relationship. if the problems were with the significant other he would want to spend that time working on their relationship instead of asking for time . he is getting ready to leave, and wants to be with the other person.

Perhaps you already knew the answer at the back of your mind.

Stay calm and composed.

If you really want him/her to remain significant in your life, do the best you can to salvage your relationship..

If you think it's beyond repair, try to move on, explore what life has to offer..

All the best and GOD bless you

Time off. Time in jail? Time to collect their stuff into one sock? Be supportive and ask the bounds for this time off. Ask if both of you get to have this time off. Ask where they think you'll be when the month is over. Mostly, ask WHY.

He / she found something a single
person might want to do for a month.
For me It would be over, and I would
tell them, " On your way out,
Don't let the door hit you,
where the good Lord split you ".

Sounds like a nice way to dump you. A "month" will turn into two and three before you know it. Give them their "time off", and move on to date other people.

they just need a break. Maybe some time to think things over. it doens't necessarily mean that it's the 'end', but maybe for your partner, it may mean things are moving too quick for them?

Your relationship is going downhill, and he needs time to either think it over or just have a fling.
