God created man and woman with different set of capabilites. He wanted us the work in co-operation and take care oif his creations besides developing a perfectly harmonic environment for mankind.

If we had been imparted with equal capabilities, the only reason we would acquaint with each other would be for sex. More like animals, isn't it? But we have to be with each other for a lot of reasons beyond sex. Because both of us are integral, equally important part of mankind.

But instead, we started nagging about our duties and boasting about our capabilities and asking for more from the world.

God gave men physical strength and he gave women emotional strength. Don't you think there must be some reason behind it? It is because he wanted both these strengths to unite and work for him. Neither of these could make anyone earn any status untill they utilize these assets for properly.

While talking about equal status, let me ask you something - Do you really thing that a woman deals with the same world that a man does? Definitely not... A man faces more abrupt world. Let me give you few examples for these:

1> A man travelling in a bus suddenly finds a seat. An elderly person is standing just beside him. He would gladly offer the seat to the elderly person without thinking about his comfort. This scene, I beleive, a lot of guys would agree to is very common. But when it comes to a lady travelling in a bus, she would jump to grab the seat without caring for anyone around. Instead if she doesn't find any seat, she would look out for some 'Bakra' who can offer her the seat. At this point of time all the sense of equalities get out of her mind. Instead her womenhood comes into the picture - I am a woman, I am supposed to be respected and get a seat here. Hypocrisy prevails...

2> A guy drops in 15 minutes late in the office and he would have to face the worst person in his life. A lady drops in 15 minutes late, and she escapes all the bashings just because of her womanhood. It becomes an issue of her dignity, if ever the boss growls at her. Why can't women be fair enough? Why do they forget the soft treatment they get from the world?

3> A guy sees an elderly person, or a kid, or a disabled person, trying to cross the street or seeking guidance, he won't back off. But a woman would never care to do anything worthy for them. What would happen if they actually help them out? Will it really affect their dignity?

4> A housewife keeps nagging that she's not a maid to cook and wash for people in the house, or a nurse to take care of people in the house, and things like that. Did their man ever complain to them - It's done for me, I don't wanna face the firings anymore, you go and do the earning? Peforming her duites is kind of losing respect for her.

When you talk about equality, bot hof them should earn it at equal terms. But the world is a bit soft towards women. It's better we forget about equality in terms of rights. Women enjoy a status that men don't and men enjoy a status that women don't. Let's not mingle them up.

And please guys don't give me any examples from pages of the history. The examples I've presented are all about the current scenario's.

It's better we stop boasting and nagging and carry on with our tasks as part of the society, part of the ultimate creation of the almighty. This stupid superiority race has just brought about a massive imbalance in the harmony of the society.

We gotta walk shoulder to shoulder. And it doesn't mean that we gotta fight for superiority and respect, it simply means walking shoulder to shoulder. If you fall, I take care, when I fall, you take care, that's it. Lets just try to get it back to normal.

God Bless You...

:-)

Lets just say the problem isn't just in India. Women are sometimes treated as second class citizens in their own country. Where I live, it isn't such a big issue, but I know that in India, there are parents who are prepared to educate girls, but won't allow them to go to work.

BTW men also need equal status. They shouldn't feel that cooking, cleaning, bringing up the children is a women's job only. Do you have paternity leaves, like women have maternity leaves, for example?

Just because a housewife, for example, lives at home, takes care of children, doesn't mean she has no status. She works, but the only difference is she doesn't get paid. Some people just don't see that.

When you agree that men are different than women like so many different entities - trees, fox, donkeys, cats, chairs, books - O.k. Then there would always be some difference in each seperate entity. May be after hundred years men are poorer and in minority than women or may not be so. Why always bother to compare them both ?

No.
My wife has 100% status in home and I have 0% status. If I demand / express / say / tell some thing, she shouts. To make her silent, I am silent. Ladies are bad, very bad.
They are queen but they forget that queen is always wife of king.
Is there any lady who say to men: What will you eat? Ladies are neech and fails to give value for money.
