How come the people who are born privileged seem to end up being scum?

They have anything they could possibly want, yet, they do drugs, sleep around, and do other nasty things. They mistreat people. They really don't seem to respect themselves. And I'm not talking about all privileged people. Example: Paris Hilton.

They don't know what it means to have to work hard for something. I was the guy that you would see smoking on the corner with long hair when I was a teenager. People would have said the same that I would not amount to anything. I joined the Army, busted my azz and got a great job. There was this one time when I got out of the Army I met this lady that used to be in my Math class. You know her the preppy girl who dated the High School Basketball Captain. She said that she married the guy, he was a worthless dude. He did not want to work or anything. She started to take interest in me when she found out where I've been, what I have been doing since High School. All I had to say was you should have talked to me those years ago instead of putting her nose in the air. I make about three times as much as she does in her job that she had to get because he did not want to work to make ends meat. I own my own home, a car, a truck, and I used to own three motorcycles before I decided to get rid of them. I now wear a suit every day to work and highly respected by my 44 employees and the general public.

I don't agree with Zorlinda at all. I know plenty of people that thinks the world owes them something when they didn't have a whole lot growing up. Look at the dis-honest people taking welfare, when in fact they are more then able to get off their butts and go to work. Also seen plenty of people claiming disability and all that's disabled is being allergic to work. It works both ways, there's people born into privileged family's that are very humble people and make the world a better place.

Being given everything doesnt teach anyone responsibility or respect. So they think that they can keep on carrying on with their ridiculous behaviour and getting away with it - WRONG! I guess they think they can behave badly because if they flash their cash that will keep people quiet.
Us "normal" people work hard for what we have so therefore we learn responsibility and respect from that. They have no concept of having to earn a living to buy things therefore those simple behavioural traits are severely lacking in their lives.

They've been given too much I guess. I have also noticed that people who have had a relatively easy life grow old to be the most bitter...as if they think the world owes them something...

You no some people just dont appericate nothing. No matter what they have or what they get there is never enough. And some people are just plain jack asses sometimes. But I always say remeber what goes up will come down.

I have met just as many scummy people who grew up underpriveldged too. It is all walks of life.
