~You can experience pre-cognizant episodes whether or not you believe in them. Having obviously had one, accept the fact that they are real and train your mind to enhance and expand the talent - just don't tell anyone about it. It is real, but using it is better than wasting your time explaining the what or the how of it. And, believe me, with the right exercises, you can develop it. Do some research and some serious reading to find out how - and welcome to the fraternity.

i had quite a major accident a while ago and just before impact it seemed time stopped and gave me a brief moment to consider what to do... remember thinking if i swerved one way i would`ve hit another car that had 2 kids in it and if i had swerved another i would have gone straight into oncoming traffic so i just hit the brakes and piled into the crazy woman as it was the "safest" option, this all happened within about 3 seconds but it seemed so much longer... i think there is still alot to be answered regarding the human brain and the potential power it contains...

I would love to say that you are psychic - and I'm sure you would love to hear that. But it is, after all, the simplest answer and the easiest to understand, but that doesn't necessarily make it true.
Y'see, I have things like that happening to me ALL THE TIME (and I'm not exagerrating) and I believe I'm far from psychic. Sometimes you pick up things that are 'in the air', so to speak - the human mind is an intriguing thing and we are far from knowing everything it is capable of.
My theory is that what you experienced, is a primal instinct; survival. Usually primal instincts pop up when the conscious mind fails to preserve the self (hope this makes sense) and so the subconscious kicks in, basically saving the day.
That's the only explanation I can give to it.

Either a guardian angel showed you or you had a glimpse of precognition. Sometimes people dream of accidents then either consciously or subconsciously avoid the intersection and avoid the accident. Yours happened immediately before the situation and while awake. The mind has many different ways to give us info in order to protect us.
My daughter ran out in front of a car several years ago. I screamed STOP in my head and both the car and the child stopped. The driver of the car was amazed. She said she hadn't seen my kid and was baffled why her car stopped. Who knows how these things work. They seem to though and we should appreciate the safety net they provide.

it's called precognition, that is seeing something before it happens. it was a warning and you were able to avoiud a serious accident. it may happen more, or never again, depending on whether you learn about how it works and find someone who can train you to do it more often.
it's a gift that you can develop if you seek to do so.

You swerved because of instinct. If I were you and this happened to me, I wouldn't be asking questions how it happened, I would be thankful that it happened.

At least you weren't hurt.
You need to give more detales here cause when a person reads it they will think Medium or you just had quick reaction at that time then you normally do. I dont know its hard when all you have up is that question.
