is thier any way to make a playstation 3 play pc games

It depends on what games you want to play. The PS3 allows to install Linux on the Harddisk. So you can use a PC emulator to play very old games.

Since the Linux on PS3 isn't allowed to use the graphics hardware directly, you will not be able to play newer games that need 3D acceleration.

So basically: You could play PC games that are older than 1995 on the PS3 in a PC emulator.

New games like Half Life and the likes, will not work.

Furthermore: Depending on your PC, you will have better graphics and sound anyways.

You should look into mod chips. If they dont have any now, they will soon. Chips will make your dreams come true.

No... not compatible... however you might be able to get an emulator to do the reverse.
