That's a tough one. Once sex gets involved it can make the friendship stronger or you risk losing the friend. Obviously this is not someone you are in love with but are very close with. Personally, I've done it and it ha worked out for me, but, I know too many instances where a friendship has been lost. No easy answer, but the best thing I can say is if you are both honest with each other that it's still a friendship and that is all, I don't think you have to be madl in love with everyone you sleep with, but have respect for them.

I have seen a few of my friends now try the "friends with benefits" thing and in every one of the situations they are no longer friends and the rest of us have to listen to the bullshit. The only way this can work is if you don't live in the same town and are not able to see each other every day..Everyone says it's the woman who gets attached to the guy but in one case i seen my friend get very attached to the woman and he ended up getting very hurt when she ended up meeting another guy..so instead of sleeping with your friend why don't the two of you pool your resources and help each other find someone..go together to couples weekends or swingers clubs..and that way you get to have sex with another woman and she gets to have her pick of the men there ..and the most important thing is that at the end of the night you both go home friends and satisfied...

Um, I really don't think that it matter's what sex they are. Who cares. I would say yeah, it's cool to do it as long as both parties are on the same page. Especially if it's a girl you are talking about. Most girls are really bad agreeing that "this is just a one time thing" but in their heads they are planning the wedding and all that. Believe me, I've slept with a friend. We didn't have the talk and I assumed it was more than what it was. Communicate and all should be well.

If you're both willing, both consenting (adults), then there shouldn't be a problem. Just keep in mind that one of you will most likely get hurt. Even if you say you're "just friends" it never tends to be that way from both perspectives.

if it is a good friend i wouldnt suggest that because after that the friendship is gona be gone if it doesnt work out between you two. if you think you might be in love with your friend then you can start with going out on an actuall date.

I don't see why it's not ok, as long as you both are over 18.

Sure. Just be prepared for it to be weird later. There's always expectations.
