Kiełbasa (the fourth letter is not a "t" but a crossed "l" which is pronounced like the letter "w" in "power") is a type of sausage, but the meat inside is minced not as finely as in the typical American sausage. There are three basic types of kiełbasa: the thin, smoked one, which you often serve heated, the thin, smoked and dried one, which you never heat but serve in pieces, and the thick one, which you use for sandwiches.

you have never tried something like Polish meals! There are Pierogi (that are like ravioli's yet extra perfect), barscz (beet soup), kopytka, ogorkowa zupa (pickle soup; i be attentive to, sounds icky, whether it tastes extra perfect than it sounds), and sooooo plenty extra. :) by skill of the time you go away Poland, you will earnings 5 kilos because of the fact of each and all the concepts.
