They dont really ''disappear'' as such ; but as u age, they become elongated, till they finally almost merge into yr cheek lines and are not so visible / pronounced anymore.
But its not always the case with everyone ---- I 've seen some old people with pronounced dimples too. Cute !!!!!

no I have dimples and the bigger I got the less you noticed them but thats cause my jaws are hugh now. and you still see my dimples

Yes they can. Drink a lot of water and make sure that your face is not too oily or too dry.

i suppose its possible for them to fade away. however, i think they are God's way of imprinting someone with a special twinkle of their own. :)
