I am opening an up-scale restaurant. What kind of music should I play or hire?

I am interested in the trends in music among generation "X". Can anyone help me?

Well if I was in an upscale resturant I think I would want to hear soft upbeat jazz or blues. I get tired of the whole classical or italian songs. I am a waitress at an upscale resturant and they play the italian music and even the customers laugh at it and poke fun. Also I would recommend using songs that are known among almost everyone because people seems to enjoy the atmosphere if they can "wistle the tune".

Enya would work for me! I love the new age and celtic types of music.

Enya is very soothing and tranquil.
