Well that's a unique question anyhow.

My personal answer is...NO! But that's because my "gym" is in my garage.

Now, if I did go to a gym (one not located in my garage that is), I would simply wear the gear I always wear when riding.

I wear gear for EVERY ride, no matter how short or easy. Besides, I don't go to the gym. I work out by riding my bicycle.

Absolutely. I wear full gear even if I'm riding around the block.

Road Rash sucks, and debriding the wound sucks even more.

I live less than a mile mile from the ocean and on occassions have rode with just board shorts and flip flops. Less than 25mph and early in the morning before traffic picks up. Get in a quick morning swim and head back.

if you've ever been down on pavement without your "gear" on you would not be asking.
