1. Desilt the Cooum River and make it a waterway for transporting people around Chennai to ease the congestion in other modes of transport;

2. Relocate the hutments in various parts of the City and provide them a better place to reside in;

3. Remove the encroachments on the pavements and make it easier for people to use the pavements.

4. Provide Trolley facilities (both paid and free) at Chennai Central and Egmore railway stations for passengers' use.

5. Provide better facilities at Hospitals for timely treatment to the poor;

6. Regulate the plying of Autorickshaws and make them passenger-friendly;
