i think being young is scary, the older you get the more comfortable you are in your own skin and you know your own mind much better. (i'm thirty)
yes, i think about dying a lot. i think everyone probably has some fears about it, but if we think about it too much we waste the time we've got on the great unknown.
everyone wants to be attractive, magazine style. still, this is impossible since no one comes along and airbrushes you before you go to work. i focus more on my style and my attitude. believing you are attractive/sexy goes a long way to actually being it. plus, it's not everything. i would hate to be so shallow as to really fear being unattractive. then i might end up with third degree burns and very little soul to pull me through.

How old is really old?
When I was 20, I thought that 40 was really old. It's relative?
I am 65. I do not think about imminent death at all.
Unattractive? I still have masculine good looks and all my dark hair. My current girlfriend is 23 and a stunning beauty. Regular sexual activity takes place.
I feel 25 yo. I guess it's all in the mind?

No Why should they or we, Besides what do you call really old. There are elderly men and woman out there who have full faculties about them. I doubt very much they would be thinking of dying, or been unattractive.
Staying alive and in good health would be the main stable of living.
Keeping Fit and eating healthy is another. However have some sympathy for those who are incapacitated, after all we all have to grow old and hopefully we all grow old gracefully.

Sometimes. When I think death is nearing. What really is scary about being old is that people change for the worse as they got older, more immature as they age. Now that is scary ....

I'm not really old, however, I am old enough to know that getting older isn't really scary if you have friends and family around you. I think loneliness would be scarrier. Death isn't something to be afraid of...but ugly is....because ugly is a behavior that separates you from those you most desire to be around.
