its actually worked out pretty beneficial for me, iwas in the process of switching to sky because sky1 had been cancelled by virgin media,but when i mentioned this to virgin media their sales guy started throwin evertyhing under the sun at me,they are desperate to keep hold of all the customers they can and now i am getting a package worth about £120 per month for just over £50&i am also getting setanta sports for 6months for free! its rumoured that virgin media will get the main big shows like lost and 24 to show on virgin central but they wont be getting the full sk1 channel! i would say to any1 that is going to change to sky to try and get whatever u can from virgin media first then telll sky and get them to offer you an even better deal,go back and forward between the two until you get the best offer you can.

Its stupid ! Sky are to greedy just to let Virgin and Telewest have Sky 1 for the lower price that it used to be and allthough i want Sky 1 back i am not switching to Sky because of what they have done its just one stupid war between the channels and Sky knows that Virgin and Telewest cant afford to buy Sky 1 for the price they are willing to sell it for so i dont see why Sky just wont give in because thousands of people are not watching Sky 1 anymore therefore Sky are losing buisness so its there loss and if you ask me it serves the greedy sh**s right !

Personally I hate it and am currently in the progress of cancelling Virgin and going to Sky. Anything to have Jack Bauer back. LONG LIVE SKY 1!!!!!

Am so fed up at not getting my programmes, missing Relic Hunter, Dresden Files, and Bones. (sob) but will stay with Virgin for a wee while yet in the hope it will get sorted out.
