Monday in class. I was demonstrating the method for a science experiment, the bell went off, I jumped about a meter in the air, and stuff exploded (non-toxic stuff, thankfully) all over the room. After a frozen moment, my class and I 'lost it'. We giggled for the rest of the morning.

This afternoon -- if by slap happy, you mean like, laugh out loud alone, feeling punchy stupid! I had a ridiculously physically exhaustive manual labor kinda day, (that started with me getting up at 4:45am), and by the end of the workday, I was waiting for my last bus to arrive and deliver me to the sanctity of my little apartment, praying to the Metro Gods to bring me the number 4 bus. Every time a bus approached, I quietly said "FOUR!", to no avail. By the fifth bus, I was just babbling "FOUR!" out loud, which reminded me of an old episode of Gilligan's Island, where Gilligan had to dress as the white goddess Gilliana, and while the headhunter waited for "her", he counted to 10, but every time he got close, Gilligan would would shout "FOUR!" and the head hunter would start counting from there, "5,6,7,8..."

By the time the bus came, I was giddy-stupid and slap happy!

Not lately. Maybe on my day off, I'll find something to be slap happy about. Until then, I'm just slappin'. LOL
