Why are the dems so weak & wimpy in congress?

Question

Bush, who's guilty of numerous impeachable offenses, and is basically running a criminal operation in the white house, has about a 30% approval rate. Yet, congress still cowers to him. What's the story?

Can't you tell.... the republicans have totally infiltrated the ranks of the dems and have been weakening them, from within, for years.

I personally have a lot of respect for Obama and Hillary but do you honestly think that this will not boil down to "do you want a black man or a woman as president?"....
