you can get opium from ordinary letuce
just break of a leaf and collect the milk that bleeds out ,
if you collect enough you get a little ball which is a mild opium
and letuce is legal
how is this possible

good thing not to many people know this ,so dont tell anybody.

ordinary poppies dont bleed enough to give you opium that has to come from the big opium poppies
but many people use poppy seed in the baking of fancy bread ,this is the seeds from the real opium poppies
and bread is also legal

morning glory which grows all over the place is also a very strong halucegenic drug
would you make that illegal as well
why not just make Nature illegal

Christians are crazy ,they think they can be in control of the whole of Nature

i think you should be illegal
and then we can smoke you

There are many varieties of poppy. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poppy

Most cannot produce opium. However, the source of poppy seeds used in cooking and baking is from the same variety that can be used for opium. But the opium material is not in the seeds (not very much of it anyway). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opium_poppy
