I have had some infertility test done such as hysterosalpingogram 3 different blood test and a normal check up. My husband has had a sperm analysis and all of our test have came out ok. We have been ttc for 10 months. I have a son from my ex husband. I am 22 and I have a cycle of exactly 26 days, I also know when I ovulate but I always take a test just to make sure that I am. My NP has told me to make an apointment with my OB because thats as far as she can go as far as testing goes. So I maid my apointment with her and I was woundering if anyone knows what happens next? Whats the next step? What are the next test? Anything I should know before going to the apointement? Any advice would really help?

Next step the doctor will probably have you chart your temperature to see when you are ovulating. After a month or so with that if you havent done that already then you maybe ask to start taking fertility pill like clomid. If you want to conceive right away I would tell the doctor that and he may skip the charting and go right to the pill.
Good Luck

Are you already charting? 26 days is a bit short, your luteal phase might be a bit short. Will depend on how many days you have between ovulation and your period.

An ob/gyn at this stage is a good idea. They will want you to chart, so if you are not doing it, you need to. They will want to see it. If you are ovulating and your cycles seem okay they still may just say give it more time. If your luteal phase is short, you may be put on something to help Lengthen it. Sounds like you don't need anything to help you ovulate so clomid or something like that will probably not be suggested.

So it is hard to say where the next step will be. You are young and they will want you to take time. You are not considered to have a fertility problem until you have been carefully trying for at least one year. Not just having un protected sex. If you are not charting and going by the LH surge, you could very easily be missing ovulation. Lots of times the surge is not read until after you have ovulated. It is not a good thing to use on its own, it should be used as a back up to charting. You need to be having sex before the surge hits. When and after could be too late.

I wish you luck and hope that things go well for you, soon.
