I like to trim them when they grow out to the point I can't see as well. Also, I use a q-tip to brush them. Is there something obvious I am missing? Success stories?

Get a "no tears" child's shampoo, and apply a drop to both L & R closed eyelashes. Gently rub with a damp flannel, then rinse.

You shouldn't have to do anything to real eyelashes. You can wash them with soap and water. You shouldn't trim them, they protect your eye from damage.

I hope you know this is a very weird question. No one gives a thought about their eyelashes except girls who wear mascara. If you shower or bathe daily that's enough. This is very strange my friend. I know of no one who does that.

dip your finger tips in some olive oil and rub over the eye lashes, this will condition them and keep them from drying, then gently absorb it with a tissue, i would never cut them.
