skin lotion on your body helps too, very important; and YOU need drink enough water. after that, the basics are if still have static cling, rub a fabric softner towel over your nylons or whatever is sticking. if skirts are sticking to your nylons at work (or a job interview!) rub hand lotion or even plain water on your hose (saved many a desperate situation for me!). use the little liquid fabric softner balls in the washer or fabric softner sheets in the dryer. use only the minimum necessary soap (the bottles tell you several times too much) as are all negatively charged ions which cause static. avoid drying synthetics with naturals; e.g. if dry polypro with cotton towls, the polypro gets severe static. dry the synthetics fast & separately or drip dry when ever possible.

You can make this solution up very easily, first you fill a spray bottle with water about 3/4 full then add a cap full of fabric softner, then spray your garments with this when you have a static problem and your static goes away, you can also use a coat hanger for this trick, just run the coat hanger along the full length of the garment to remove static cling, thats it ! Good Luck !

This used to happen to me all the time. Especially skirts, even if I was wearing nylons, take any hand or body lotion and apply it to your self or even your nylons, legs or where ever the problem occurs.
If you can though, use liquid fabric softner in your wash, I would also suggest that you not use fabric sheets in your dryer. Best advice I have got, the dryer sheets put in the dryer will eventually cake and or bake on the inside of the drum of the dryer. You don't want that expense. Another really good substitute for adding liquid softner to your laundry while washing is to go to the store, most of them have them now, and look for a "Downey Ball", only costs a couple bucks, you fill it to the line with liquid softner, and throw it in with the clothes your washing, during the later spin cycle the force will open the contents of the ball with the softner.
Also, if you still have those dryer sheets around, if you have shoes that tend to get "smelly", (we've all had um, put one of them in each of your shoes. It absorbs and they actually smell good.

frabic softener sheets are great!
those are the best to get rid of static cling. I noticed in the winter if i don't use them in the dryer my clothes are very staticy....You can also use them for a freshen up on ur clothes, under ur seats in ur car they are great air fresheners. I also put them under my couches and in the corners of my closets so they don't get that "stuffy" smell. I personally think bouce is the best but whatever u like! hope this helps!

Go to the supermarket and by an anti static spray. You just spray it onto the clothes that have static and no more static.

There is a spray you can buy for this. If you can't find it at the supermarket (laundry section), try the hosiery section of a dept store or dry cleaners. It works, I've used it before.
