The story came from a student of mine who claimed to have worked there. He said that the beef, before it is cooked, is liquid. (I imagine that means blood) Anybody know if it is true?

Not true! It is a very selective cut of beef and is prepared by USDA standards.

i just bought an arby's sandwich. cheese only. some parts of the meat were bright RED as if bloody. and i looked at the bread and there was a red liquid mark.

on top of the high costs and little yield, AND the bloody meat, i am NOT ever going to arby's again.

Um if thats true I doubt it. Since Arby's taste the best of any fast food on the market ! And which meat eater gives a darn about eating blood ....suppose they were extra raw soft meat hmmm your friend alright in the noodle?

Yeeccchhh............better file this informational tidbit in the "Better not to know" file.

However, it wouldn't surprise me, I've wondered for years if the name 'Arby' is just a semantic play on R. B. as in stands for Re-constituted Beef ????

Anybody else have that thought ?

Ew...serious? I hate Arbys anyway, one summer I went with a BIG group of people and after we left everyone got sick to the stomach and threw up.

Once thawed, I'm sure it lies inside a package in a pool of blood and water. It probably gives an impression that it is liquified goo. Well, with your question inconjunction with the story on KFC, I think I'm going to eliminate those two from my list of favorite restaurants.
