Am very very doubtful about such an event. Almost all the clubs organise weekend treks in and around Mumbai / Pune. The organisers are working and tend to get weekly offs on weekends. Additionally almost all the members who participate get weekends off. So unless there are adjoining holidays with weekends, very difficult to find such treks. What you could do is find out interested trekkers who are in similiar conditions. Then you could easily organise such treks. For more informations that you may require while organising such outings you can contact trekkers and clubs ( including me ). We can provide you with information. Best luck.

There are several groups and clubs in Mumbai which undertake such treks.
Prominent are Young Zingaro, Malad unit of Youth Hostels.
Best way to experiment will be to get into touch with Youth Hostels initially. Please visit them at : 109, Swapna purti, Dr ambedkar road, Parel Naka, Mumbai. You can walk down for about 2-3 minutes from Elphinston road railway station on western or Parel on central railway to the east. Meet the guys and get all the information you want.
Other way is enquire around and try to create your own group and develop from there on.
Happy trekking.
