Don't shave. That is a major turn-off. Don't trim too short. No woman wants her privates wire-brushed.
Natural pubic hair is sooooooo sexy! Why would you want to get rid of something that makes you manly and desirable? And spare me the "dental floss" routine; any woman who uses her teeth on you is a menace! Teach her how to pleasure you without baring her fangs.

There isn't an easy answer for this because each guy is different. If you want the smoothest feeling, you need to also go "against the grain," however, this can be painful. For me it is a very hard area to maintain with shaving. It is easily irritated and ingrown hairs are the worst. No pun intened, shaving the rest of the area is a pain in the @$$. It is like painting a wall; you can't do part of it and just stop. A smooth pubis is pointless if you have a hairy back, crack & sac as it is called. My recommendation is to wax the whole damn thing! It gets easier each time if you are in "good hands" (ie, an experienced Master Esthetician.) That said, if the rest of your southern region isn't bad, just keep the hedge trimmed.

If that's what you really want, then trim most of it off and then shave down then up, being extremely careful of course. Nicks and cuts are going to happen but less if you are careful. Some of the women I've been with don't mind although some do. It varies so, just ask your girl what she likes.

I like a man with hair. If my boyfriend ever shaved his off, I'd freak. I think it looks too boy-ish, you know? The pre-pubecint stage. I like a man with hair. But advice would be to trim, it looks nicer.

I like no hair on a guy. I guess you should just shave in the direction the hair grows to try and prevent ingrown hairs. Same as you would shave your beard. I think its so sexy
