no. Cancer is caused by mutation in genes, a bra cannot do that.

I have slept with a bra since I developed. I always had perfect good looking breasts, till I got married. My husband complained about the bra and I have stopped this practice. I have a large chest so they have since sagged and I have gone back to wearing bras to bed again. I have never heard that there is a risk of cancer by wearing a bra to sleep otherwise there would be a time limit to wearing a bra. The worst that can happen is a pimple or ingrown hair if you don't change your bra. It's all a matter of perference.

There is a lot of debate about this. Some people say it is bad, others say it is good. Honestly, I personally do not think that there is a particular risk to wearing a bra to bed, assuming the bra fits you appropriately. You do not want the bra to be too tight. Also, I agree with other posters that have said it will not lead to cancer. I believe that is an old myth, passed down by generations of women (in my family at least).

Yes, laying on your bra can cut off circulation of the lymphatic fluid system, and lead to swollen lymphnodes. Swollen lymphnodes have a higher incidence of breast cancer. not only shuold you not sleep in your bra, but you should be giving yourself breast massages regularly, every day would be great, but at least once a week would be ideal. Lymphatic fluid circulation generally isn't as good in the breasts as it is in other parts of the body and that's thought to be part of the reason why breast cancer is so common. Here's a good instructional video on the right way to give yourself breast massages. http://www.youtube.com/v/f6jgDk4apog
Troy is right about cancer being a mutation in the genes but if toxins build up in one particular location it's thought that that can cause the genes to mutate.

Find a comfortable bra to sleep in. I herd it taking my GF's daughter shopping for her 11 B-day. The sales lady was telling us that it is good for you. So I got a second opnion from the nurse down the street. She said yes and added, for her not to wear panties to sleep. But boxers or loose fitting pants.
I raised 3 boys, so this little girl stuff is all new to me.

thats just plain stupid, its uncomfortable as the devil though. breast cancer is due to run away cell growth, has nothing to do with something one wears.
