The point system and criteria for entering the Super 8 are explained below;
The Group Stage and in the Super 8 Stage points will be awarded as follows:
Win 2 points
Tie/No Result 1 point
Loss 0 points
The top two teams from each Group will advance to the Super 8 stage and any points they may have earned against the other qualifier from their own group will be carried through. In the Super 8s, each team will play the six remaining qualifiers from the other groups and the top four teams will go through to the semi-finals. Positions will be decided by most points. Where two or more teams are tied on points, the following methods in turn will be used to decide which team goes through:
1)Most Wins in their group or in Super 8 whichever is applicable
2)Higher Net Run Rate in their group or in Super 8 whichever is applicable
3)Higher Number of Wickets Taken Per Ball in their group or in Super 8 whichever is applicable
4)Winners of Head to Head Matches
5) The Drawing Of Lots
In view of the above entering the Super 8 will depend upon the points each teams have after the Group Matfches. The two teams with more points will enter into the super 8 stage.

Nope
Buddy
Look
Only Two Team Will Go to the 2ND stage from every group
so there is no chance for India If it loses
But If there is tie In between Bangladesh : India : Scotland
Then Run rate Will Be Considered For 2ND Stage
So there Is Little Hope:

sure, it may, yet will it ? I particularly have my doubts. Indian team isn't a consistent one. each now and then it clicks, each now and then it does no longer. so that you'll in no way say. Even in 2003, It bounced again from rather a lot a level of no go back and reached the semi finals. yet what got here about there, all of us understand. They were butchered by technique of the Aussies. So all you'll do is flow your hands and need that they play properly and win. on the top of it, only relax and income from the game. after all, it truly is in reality a activity. the more suitable positive aspect on that day will win. Please dont flow out and ransack the participant's residences.

no chance, out of the four countries in each group .. 2 should go the the second round, so there is little bit of hope unless some miraculous would happen... but we know India never take any team easily and show good perforamnce and go to super eight ... do not worry..

If one team loses twice in a 4-team group, how it will go to the next round unless the winners get voluntarily out themselves of the tournament....It is a simple math.
