Did anyone see american idol when Lakiska jones sang the song that made Jennifer Hudson so famous, Well after she song the song I am telling you, i think that's the title, if not everyone know the song, anyway Randy said she nail the song and said watch out Jenner Hudson, Paula say it was perfect, and Simon say now that's the way it was suppose to be song and that, that was the right key to sing the song in.What do you think Jennifer Hudson through of Lakiska the girl that sang the song, and why is simon so hard on Jennifer Hudson.

Well the first person to ever sing the song was Jennifer Holiday and if you recalled a few seasons back Frenchie sang it as well and got kicked off. I feel as though if you can sing, sing and if you take a song that is famous you have to make it your and sing it with conviction because everyone will compare you to the other person who sang it. So I would have tried to sing it better than her too...it is a competition not try not to embaress the person who has already made it and is rich. And you would have tried to sing the song better to if it meant winning something that meant a lot to you.

Simon wasn't refering to Jennifer Hudson when he said "that's the right note" he was refering to one of the girls who sand before Lakiesha. Lakiesha sang the song very well, but we all know that Jennifer hudson sang it best.

i think he's hard on her b/c she cant sing...no one, no one ever, can touch Jennifer Hollidays version of this song..but i do have to say Jennifer Hudson sings better than Beyonce, but so does the stray cat in my back yard
