According to the Guinness Book of Records -

"the character most often portrayed is Count Dracula, created by the Irish writer Bram Stoker (18471912). Representations of the Count outnumber those of his closest rival, Frankenstein, by 161 to 117"

This section is Astronomy and Space by the way. This question should be in Movies.

Sherlock Holmes is correct. This doesn't have much to do with Astronomy or Space but I am ahuge Sherlock Holmes fan so I decided to answer anyway. There's been over 100 Sherlock Holmes movies made and that doesn't even include moveis where he was a periferal character.
