I remember the U.S. mint coming out with this coin a few years ago.
But it never took off just like the S.B.A. coin. As of 2007, are they still being produced.
Also is there a link to find coins and paper money in cirrculation?

They are not doing the Sacajawea coin any more, but they just started minting a series of presidential dollar coins.

The first one just came out, with George Washington on the back (front?). They are going to do all of the dead presidents, right up to Ronald Reagan. 40-some in all. They are "collectible" like the state quarters.

These coins are gold-tinted, like the Sacajawea coins.

See them here:

Nope. Just like Susan B. Anthony, they tried her for a couple of years and discontinued minting them because of lack of general public interest in a dollar coin.

I have one!
Anyway...Uh... Well, you see, the vending machine at my school only gives change in those coins... So I think they're still printing them. LOL that's funny... It only gives change in those coins when it comes to dollars... So yeah they are still printing them.
